Mountain Reliquary

This snow globe contains a fragment of a snow-covered mountain, preserved beneath a thick glass dome set upon an aged metal base. Alpine terrain and vegetation remain suspended in a perfectly stable state.

No natural movement can be observed: the snow never falls, the climate remains unchanged, and the landscape shows no sign of erosion or decay.

When activated, the globe allows its user to be teleported inside the reliquary for a limited period of time.

Creation Chronicles

The artifact is believed to have been created by a reclusive mage seeking a safe and isolated refuge. Through an arcane ritual, a precise fragment of mountain was isolated and sealed beneath glass.

What was intended as a temporary act became irreversible. The mage disappeared shortly after the artifact’s creation. Some suggest that he may still be trapped within.
